Melissa Reece
After getting my degree from the University of Wisconsin River Falls I looked all over for radio jobs to no avail. But, oddly enough I was led back into a true passion of mine, which has always been writing. Currently I am a freelance writer for The Leader Telegram and every few months do a piece in their Home Front edition (based on decorating your home). I also at times write for Demand Studios.com, Suite101.com (obviously), and Volume One magazine out of Eau Claire WI.
My passions include finding, interviewing, and promoting bands in the EC and other areas spanning all over the world. I also find an interest in the paranormal and things just down right kooky and interesting. I love people stories and I feel everyone, in their own right, has a story to tell. It's how you tell a story from a fluff piece to hard news that makes a difference- that makes you laugh or cry- and I love being able to do that.
And I feel like I am just getting started.
